The end of the school year is full of excitement for summer and free time to enjoy. While most journalistic reporting does not take a hiatus, the Hawk Herald will be taking a break from publishing until late August. This year, the Hawk Herald expanded its sports coverage and introduced the wildly successful Eastern Eats column. Next year we hope to further expand both of these columns as well as utilize the photo gallery section of our website. We will return with a new team the week of August 29 to daily publications! With a new team, new ideas emerge. Several students on the staff will be working over the summer with workshops in photography, graphic design, and writing. Editor-in-Chief Lindsey Soet (‘24) and Managing Editor Natalie Mouw (‘23) will continue to work tirelessly to further improve the Hawk Herald for students and parents alike.
The Hawk Herald staff wishes everyone a safe and happy summer vacation. We look forward to your continued support in 2022-23. Enjoy the summer!
