Looking for something a little spooky?? Head on over to The Haunt! This scary attraction, has upgraded this year, with a new owner and location. Tickets start at twenty dollars, so find a group, and prepare to be scared. The Haunts new location is 1256 28th Street SW Wyoming.
If you haven’t already been down to ArtPrize, hurry, it ends October 7! You can find hundreds of entires all around downtown Grand Rapids, as well as many great places to eat. Places you should be sure to stop at include: Gerald R. Ford Museum, Amway Grand Plaza, and the Gram. Above all, our very own student, Mathew Howing, has an entry at the airport!! Love Halloween? There are plenty of events going on around town! The zoo will host, “Zoo Goes Boo.” Head over on the weekends of October 19 and 26, for costumes and trick-or-treating. On October 20 and 21, show off your costumes at Fredrick Meijer Gardens. Down for a run? This 5k, taking place downtown, has a spooky twist, so run your hardest at the Zombie Dash 5k. Last but not least, if you are looking for something closer to home, The Community Church in Ada, will host its 4th annual Trunk or Treat on October 21st.
